Town Board Meeting
The Joliet Township Government will hold its regular Town Board Meeting at 5:00 p.m. in the town hall meeting room, located at 175 W. Jefferson Street. Residents are encouraged to attend and participate in local governance.
Thy Art Is Murder Concert
Metal enthusiasts can head to The Forge at 22 W. Cass St. for a concert featuring Thy Art Is Murder, Carnifex, Bodysnatcher, 200 Stab Wounds, Ingested, and Gates to Hell. Doors open at 4:45 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase.
Joliet Slammers vs. Lake Erie Crushers
Baseball fans can catch the Joliet Slammers as they take on the Lake Erie Crushers at Duly Health and Care Field, located at 1 Mayor Art Schultz Dr. The game starts at 6:59 p.m. Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office.

LIHEAP Assistance
From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Will County Center for Community Concerns will administer the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) at the Joliet Township Government offices. This program assists income-eligible households with utility bills and furnace assistance.
Thursday, May 21
Powerman 5000 Concert
The Forge will host Powerman 5000 and 12 Stones for a night of rock music. The concert begins at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase.
Friday, May 22
Chicago Street Farmers Market
From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., the Chicago Street Farmers Market will offer fresh produce and local goods. It’s a great opportunity to support local vendors and enjoy seasonal offerings.
Looking Ahead
May 28: Food Pantry Pop-Up
Joliet Township Government, in partnership with Holsten Human Capital Development, will host a free community food distribution from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the township offices.
May 30: Sanando Juntos
A Spanish-language mental health workshop, “Sanando Juntos,” will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Joliet Township Government offices. The event includes a presentation on trauma’s effects on children and families, followed by a clothing swap hosted by Sueño Monarca.
